Be Consistent In Giving Praise Unto God

Giving praise and worship unto God should be unconditional. In other words, God deserves praise and worship regardless of how we feel and regardless of the present circumstance. Period. True worship derives from within the heart, and external influences should not dampen, mute, or affect its commitment and zeal. Let's be honest: it's easier to sing praises when the sun is shining, the sky is blue, and there's enough money in the bank. Right? However, the same God residing in our souls is there when the sun is shining or when the skies are dark with storm clouds looming on the horizon. He is God and He never changes.

Consider this. Abraham went up the mountain to sacrifice Isaac in worship. Tough circumstance, but Abraham was determined. The prophet Daniel prayed three times a day while the intimidating lions were waiting for his arrival. In the New Testament, Paul and Silas sang praises with bloodied, beaten, bruised backs and seemingly, no hope for release from incarceration. The outlook was grim and bleak. They sang praises.

Most assuredly, praise and worship become a lifestyle that we will continue in heaven seeing Jesus face to face. Therefore, we must not ... should not ... reserve praise unto Him for a specific time each Sunday, Wednesday, or any special service, but it should be a consistent attitude and mindset every single day. The consistency of praise must a part of us twenty-four hours a day. When we awake from our sleep, we must praise Him. We we go to sleep at night, we must praise Him. We should live in an attitude of praise and worship. Be consistent in giving praise unto God for he deserves it.

Thanks for reading, and may God richly bless you!
